Member Sid Cross led a tasting of fine petit châteaux Bordeaux from the highly regarded 2000 vintage - Châteaux Jouanin, Plaisance, Patache d’Aux, Mayne Vieil, Moulin à Vente, Canon de Brem, Faizeau and Fourcas-Dupré. After an informative tasting, we enjoyed a light snack – a delicious Alsace quiche prepared by Past President Alice Spurrell and daughter Alison.
