IWFS Celebration Banquet

At a recent voter poll, Sun Sui Wah overwhelmed the competition in winning the award for the Best Chinese Restaurant and to celebrate their success, as well as the completion of over 70 years of the IW&FS, members enjoyed a fine 12-course Cantonese banquet (Squid and spring roll appetizers; Hot roasted pig; Sautéed shrimps and scallops; Deep fried crab; Shark’s fin soup; Steamed prawns with garlic; World famous roasted squab; Gai lan with mushroom; Filet mignon of beef; Whole steamed rock cod; Yang Chow fried rice; Mango pudding; Dainty Two. Beverages: Dr. Loosen Riesling Kabinett 2000, TsingTao and Tiger beers; Hennessy VSOP and Remy XO cognacs)and an informal presentation by President Jim Robertson.
